Many peolple treat it as a form of exercise as it provides a good workout to help us build ous stamina and tone our body. Dancing also contributes to increased personal confidence. It also helps us sharpen our control, agility, speed and balance. Apart from that, dancing has also been known to help us maintain a good posture and body alignment. It is beneficial form of exercise as it encourage gentle stretching and also strengthens our cardiovascular system when we swing and sway.
Despite the many reasons for dancing today, it remains ritualistic among natives in under developed countries. In these communities, dance performances symbolise respect to hte spirits or an occasions. They dance during festivals such as the harvest festival and celebrations such as wedding.
In conclusion, there are many benefirs of dancing. It is an activity that is worth trying out. Besides being a socially beneficial pastime, dancing helps us to keep our body trim and fit. It can also be turned into a profession if we are interested in dancing as a career. Who knows. we might even find a 'special one' on the dance floor!
