Title: Dentist,daughter in close shave

              KUALA LUMPUR:A dentist and her two daughters cheated death yesterday when a 15m tree fell and nearly crushed them in their car.

      The trio,who had just finished shopping for their Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration,was travelling home along Jalan Maarof in front of the Bangsar Shopping Complex here at 3.30pm

      Dr.Misliah Ahmad from Shah Alam,said she was just driving with her daughter Shamine Sanusi,21,and Shana,20,when she noticed the tree on the roadside slowly leaning from their path.

      Their car was the only vehicle on the road when the tree fall.

      “The weather was fine but I was puzzled when it got dark suddenly.Only then ,I realised teh tree on my left was coming down on us”.

      “I decided to step on the accelator to get out of the way,and it turned to be a wise move as we escaped from being pinned under the huge branches”.

      Although the family escaped unhurt with just Dr.Misliah suffering minor cut on her palm,her car was badly damaged with shattered windscreen and damaged roof.

      She later lodged a report at Jalan Bandar police station and planned to file a claim for damages from Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
