English is an international language.it is the language of business,science,technology,medicine,literature and cinema.it is widely spoken and used troughout the world.this is one of the main reasons why it is important to study english.
As a world language,english is used and understoodin many parts of the world.important books is written in english.some people says that only those who plan to study oversea need to study english.They said that those who study in local universities and plan to work locally do not need english.
Knowing english open the door to the world.Even the people of China,the most populous nation in the world,are scrambling to study English.China has 1.3 billion people of whom 300 million are studying English in schools across the country.
