The BIGGEST Loser…..

It’s Sunday night! And me with my cousin have an agenda to do that night. Since he has a new car (bonus from his mom because do well in his SPM), we planned to watch EPL (MU vs. Arsenal) that night at mamak restaurant. He planned this event very smoothly as this is his first time hangout with me at the night till morning.

And me…was very eager that time. First…of course was about Arsenal (for your information, I am their die hard fan!!!) and I even wore their jersey that night…very proud for myself….hehe. Second thing, I want to know how he ‘manage’ his new car (this is the first time I lodge him by his own car). As he promise, he took me at 10.30 p.m and straight to the mamak stall at Tampin. The driver…? Not bad for a ‘freshie’ that just get his licence…huhu

As we reached, we saw many people in reds (sigh…red devils supporters). The place was very full, and luckily there was a man sitting alone and he also wear…….MU jersey. I asked his permission wheter he gave us to seat there…since he is MU supporter. A’hah…let the game begins…No FABREGAS, No Nasri, I thinked it will end up by at least draw. It’s a good game at least for first 20 minutes till MU’s new comer, Danny Wellback score for the first goal. Huh

It’s ok…it just 1 goal…Persie will score 2 for Arsenal. Just wait and see…But it’s only my dream, the same man score for the second goal from the solid kick accurate to the angle of the top goalbar. Sigh….and the third goal, huh….lack of willing to share…And the 3-0 result happen in the first half. The feeling of unhappy and unpleasant was in my heart.

The people from the other table (MU hooligans) jeer at me as I was only man who support Arsenal that time. Alright man, as you wish. Me and my cousin leaved the restaurant and straight back to home. Tomorrow, the news broadcast that MU won against Arsenal by 8-2. What a big lose!!! Huhu…but ARSENAL always in my heart although they disappointed me.

Fat Loss via Better Science and Simplicity

Here are the four simple rules I followed…
Rule #1: Avoid “white” carbohydrates
Avoid any carbohydrate that is — or can be — white. The following foods are thus prohibited, except for within 1.5 hours of finishing a resistance-training workout of at least 20 minutes in length: bread, rice, cereal, potatoes, pasta, and fried food with breading. If you avoid eating anything white, you’ll be safe.
Rule #2: Eat the same few meals over and over again
The most successful dieters, regardless of whether their goal is muscle gain or fat loss, eat the same few meals over and over again. Mix and match, constructing each meal with one from each of the three following groups:
Proteins:
Egg whites with one whole egg for flavor
Chicken breast or thigh
Grass-fed organic beef
Pork
Legumes:
Lentils
Black beans
Pinto beans
Vegetables:
Spinach
Asparagus
Peas
Mixed vegetables
Eat as much as you like of the above food items. Just remember: keep it simple. Pick three or four meals and repeat them. Almost all restaurants can give you a salad or vegetables in place of french fries or potatoes. Surprisingly, I have found Mexican food, swapping out rice for vegetables, to be one of the cuisines most conducive to the “slow carb” diet.
Most people who go on “low” carbohydrate diets complain of low energy and quit, not because such diets can’t work, but because they consume insufficient calories. A 1/2 cup of rice is 300 calories, whereas a 1/2 cup of spinach is 15 calories! Vegetables are not calorically dense, so it is critical that you add legumes for caloric load.
Some athletes eat 6-8x per day to break up caloric load and avoid fat gain. I think this is ridiculously inconvenient. I eat 4x per day:
10am – breakfast
1pm – lunch
5pm – smaller second lunch
7:30-9pm – sports training
10pm – dinner
12am – glass of wine and Discovery Channel before bed
Rule #3: Don’t drink calories
Drink massive quantities of water and as much unsweetened iced tea, tea, diet sodas, coffee (without white cream), or other no-calorie/low-calorie beverages as you like. Do not drink milk, normal soft drinks, or fruit juice. I’m a wine fanatic and have at least one glass of wine each evening, which I believe actually aids sports recovery and fat-loss. Recent research into resveratrol supports this.

Reading..???:)

Firstly, sorry teacher, I am just write something simple..hehe..lack of idea here..;)

Everyone has different ways of spending his or her free time. As for me, I usually do reading when I have free time. Most of the time, I read alone. I think through reading, I can discover the beauty of the world.

When I was young, my parents were always busy working. Therefore, they bought me a lot of books to keep me company. Through reading, I can improve my grammar and also my English. Since then, reading has become an important part of my life. Books, magazines or newspaper are very handy to carry around with maybe.:) For me, even during an interval of time, like waiting for a bus or at break time in school or at work, some people even read during this time. In short, actually we can enjoy reading no matter when or where.

In addition, reading also enriches my life, gives me a lot of fun, and releases me from the pressures of modern life. Through reading I got to know about other countries and their cultures and customs too.Other than that, I can set aside all the cares of this materialworld and just dive into the world books provide. Reading relieves me from the burdens of life, and serves as an outlet for my frustrations.

I usually do reading alone when I have free time. Reading alone does not make me anti-social. It is just because most of time, I happen to be alone when I have free time. In conclusion, doing reading when I'm free can broaden my knowledge, make me happy, and help me relax.

+Hari Raya Puasa+

Hari Raya Puasa is a very important occasion that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It is also known as the festival that marks the end of one month of fasting. The words "˜Hari Raya' mean 'day of celebration.' Many mistake Hari Raya Puasa for the Muslim New Year but it is not.

Ramadan
What is Ramadan? Ramadan is the name of the one-month fasting period when Muslims fast for a period of almost 12 hours. They fast from dawn till sunset. It is a known fact that during the period of fasting, apart from eating and drinking Muslims are also forbidden from smoking and having sexual relations. Only the sick are excused from fasting during this month. Muslims are expected to avoid lying, breaking promise or cheating during the month of Ramadan. The primary purpose of fasting during Ramadan is to remind all Muslims of self-control and submitting to Allah, the holy one. Even young kids are taught to fast when they are young.
Preparations
In a country like Singapore where there are a number of Muslims, Hari Raya preparations can be seen at least one month before the festival. Shopping center, the place that is known for the Muslims to gather, is always filled with large crowds during Ramadan. Bazaars would be set up and they would be selling numerous festive items for Muslims. Carpets, clothes, bags, food, music CDs, household items and VCDs would also be sold at shopping center. At night the place is lit up with glittering lights. There would also be a wide variety of food which would be sold at the fairs and they include kuehs, otah-otah, cakes, buns, breads, curry, noodles and even curry puffs. Most of the Muslims shop here to get the food to bring home to eat when they are breaking the fast. The time when the Muslims break the fast is usually around 7:15pm.
Celebrations
Celebration for Hari Raya Puasa starts at least a month ahead, during the fasting period of Ramadan. Women start to sew beautiful curtains and buy new clothes for the family. Some families also do renovation for the house so that the house would look better when the guests visit it during the festival. After fulfilling their one-month of fasting, the Muslims would be joyful to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa. On the morning of the festival, the Muslims would wear their new clothes and go to the mosque to pray. They offer their thanks to God and after that they would ask for forgiveness from their elders. This is an important custom followed by the Muslims.
They feel that the young ones asking forgiveness from their elders is very essential. On the day, they also visit their relatives and friends to celebrate the happy occasion. If you visit Muslims' homes on Hari Raya Puasa you can expect to taste a wide variety of delicious spicy dishes. Some favorite dishes that can be found in Muslims homes on this special occasion are ketupat, lontong, nasi padang and beef rendang. The Muslims also have the habit of giving packets of money to kids when they go visiting. The packets are usually be in green color and children often look forward to getting these money tokens on Hari Raya Puasa. Overall, Hari Raya Puasa is a delightful festival for the Muslims.

TRAFFIC JAM??!! WHAT CAN DO?

I am sure that all us have get angry during a huge traffic jam especially during a celebration like 'hari raya'. Of course the first question that pops up in our heads is: “Why didn’t I go the other way around?”. So, what you can do now is relax and wait for the traffic to clear up. What can you do if you are in a traffic jam so you don’t get bored?
an excruciating traffic jam

HEHE.. THIS SOME IDEAS:

1. You can search for new radio stations that you like and add them to your favorites list.
don't do this! be patient
2. If you have a mobile phone with an internet connection you can chat with your friends on an IM program or you can update your social media sites.
3. You can play games on your phone or Gameboy/PSP.
4. You can try to think of new ideas for your company/business.
5. You could think of new routes you could take on your way home so you can avoid this traffic jams.
6. You can take some picture when you see a nice view to make you photo collection.

But the best thing you can do is plan your drive before you leave your home/office and check one of the sites that offers live traffic updates. Then you won’t need the list of this things you can do during traffic jams. Drive safe! do not get angry like this frustrated smile!
